PENALITY FOR WRONG ANSWERS:
Candidates should note that there will be penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers.
The Commission has introduced a time frame of 7 days (a week) i.e. from the next day of the Examination Date to 6.00 p.m. of the 7th day is fixed for the candidates to make representations to the Commission on the questions asked in the Papers of the Examination. Such representation must be submitted through the “Online Question Paper Representation Portal (QPRep)” only by accessing the URL http://upsconline/nic/in/miscellaneous/QPRep/
SCHEME OF EXAMINATION
The subjects of the written examination, the time allowed and the maximum marks allotted to each subject will be as follows:—
2½Hours for each subject
Mathematics 300 marks
General Ability Test 600 Marks
Test/Interview: 900 Marks.
THE PAPERS IN ALL THE SUBJECTS WILL CONSIST OFOBJECTIVE TYPE QUESTIONS ONLY. THE QUESTION PAPERS (TEST BOOKLETS) OF MATHEMATICS AND PART “B” OF GENERAL ABILITY TEST WILL BE SET BILINGUALLY IN HINDI AS WELL AS ENGLISH.
Candidates must write the papers in their own hand. In no circumstances will they be allowed the help of a scribe to write answers for them.
