Selection Procedure And Exam Pattern : Indian Navy Agniveer Recruitment 2025
The selection process of Indian Navy Agniveer SSR (Inter level) consists of the following stages:
1.Objective Test (Stage I - INET)
2.Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
3.Stage II - Written Examination
4.Medical Examination
5.Merit List & Document Verification
6.Final Enrollment & Training
1.Objective Test (Stage I - INET) : (INET - INDIAN NAVY ENTRANCE TEST)
Exam Format:
Total Questions: 100 (MCQ-based)
Subjects: English, Science, Mathematics, General Awareness
Medium: Bilingual (Hindi & English)
Duration: 1 hour
Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer
Qualifying Criteria: Candidates must pass in all sections and in aggregate .
Standard of the Paper : 12th level
2.Physical Fitness Test (PFT) :
Candidates who clear Stage I - INET must appear for the Physical Fitness Test (PFT).
Male Candidates:
1.6 Km Run: 6 min 30 sec
Squats (Uthak Baithak): 20
Push-ups: 15
Bent Knee Sit-ups: 15
Female Candidates:
1.6 Km Run: 8 min
Squats (Uthak Baithak): 15
Push-ups: 10
Bent Knee Sit-ups: 10
3.Stage II - Written Examination : objective type (multiple-choice)
Candidates qualifying PFT will appear for Stage II - Written Examination.
Total Questions: 100 (MCQ-based)
Subjects: English, Science, Mathematics, General Awareness
Medium: Bilingual (Hindi & English)
Duration: 1 hour
Qualifying Criteria: Candidates must pass in all sections and in aggregate .
Standard of the Paper : 12th level
4.Medical Examination :
Candidates qualifying Stage II - Written Examination must undergo a medical examination conducted by authorized military doctors.
Minimum Height: 157 cm (for both Male & Female)
Vision: Uncorrected 6/12, Corrected 6/6
Tattoos: Only permitted on inner forearms & back of hands
Pregnancy: Female candidates found pregnant at any stage will be disqualified .
5.Merit List & Document Verification :
Candidates who pass the medical examination will be placed on a state-wise merit list.
Shortlisting: Based on Stage II performance & PFT qualification.
Document Verification: Candidates must present original documents (educational certificates, domicile, etc.)
Final Selection: Based on merit, vacancies, and medical fitness.
6.Final Enrollment & Training :
Candidates selected in the merit list will undergo final enrollment & training at INS Chilka, Odisha.
Agniveer 02/2025: September 2025
Agniveer 01/2026: February 2026
Agniveer 02/2026: July 2026
Candidates can be discharged if found unsuitable during training

Salary And Benefits : Navy Agniveer SSR / MR INET 2025 Online Form
Monthly Salary: For Both Indian Navy SSR (Inter level) and MR (Matric Level) Agniveer Posts
1st Year: ₹30,000
2nd Year: ₹33,000
3rd Year: ₹36,500
4th Year: ₹40,000
In-Hand Salary:
70% of the total salary is received in-hand.
Remaining 30% is contributed to the Agniveer Corpus Fund, with an equal contribution by the government.
Seva Nidhi Package:
After 4 years, candidates will receive ₹5.02 lakh, including government contribution.
Insurance & Compensation:
Life Insurance Cover: ₹48 Lakh (non-contributory).
Disability Compensation:
100% disability: ₹44 Lakh
75% disability: ₹25 Lakh
50% disability: ₹15 Lakh
Additional Benefits:
Risk & Hardship Allowances as per service conditions.
Medical & CSD Facilities available during service.
Note:

No pension or gratuity benefits apply under this scheme.

Up to 25% Agniveers may get a chance for permanent enrollment based on performance and availability.
