 The Bihar Goverment has released a notification for job opening to the Post of Home Guard for various Districts of Bihar. Total Seats under the vacancy are 15000 . .

Selection Procedure consist of following stages :-

1.Running Test 

2.Physical Measurement Test

3.Physical Efficiency/Fitness Test (PET)

4.Document Verification

5.Medical Examination

6.Merit list / Appointment

 

1.Running Test : 

Male Candidates - Running Test :-

Distance - 1600 Meter  & Time Allotted - 06 Minutes .

 

Female Candidates - Running Test :-

Distance - 800 Meter  & Time Allotted - 05 Minutes .

 

2.Physical Measurement Test : 

Male Candidates:

 

Height Measurement : 5 Feet 04 Inches (162.56 CM)

Chest Measurement : 31 Inches (79 CM) { Without Expansion} 

Note :There is relaxation in the height and chest measurement in some districts candidates of the bihar .{Height - 5 feet 02 inches and chest - 30 Inches) .

 

Female Candidates:

Height Measurement : 153 CM ( For all categories female)

Chest Measurement : Not Needed for Female candidates .

 

3.Physical Efficiency/Fitness Test (PET) Or Other Physical Activites : -

Male Candidates:

High Jump : Height ( 4 feet - 5 Feet ) & Marks (01 marks to 05 marks)

Long Jump : Distance ( 16 feet - 12 feet) & Marks (01 marks to 05 marks)

 

Short Put (Gola Feek) (16 Pound Ball)  : Distance ( 20 feet - 16 feet) & Marks (01 marks to 05 marks)

 

Female Candidates:

High Jump : Height ( 3 feet - 4 Feet ) & Marks (01 marks to 05 marks)

Long Jump : Distance ( 13 feet - 09 feet) & Marks (01 marks to 05 marks)

Short Put (Gola Feek) (12 Pound Ball)  : Distance ( 14 feet - 10 feet) & Marks (01 marks to 05 marks)

 

Medical Examination :

Candidates who qualify in the Physical Efficiency Test will undergo a medical examination.

 

The examination will include tests for eyesight, color blindness, hearing ability, flat feet, knock knees, hematite (haklahat) , and other physical parameters.

 

Candidates found medically fit by the Medical Board will be declared eligible.

 

If a candidate is declared medically unfit, they can appeal the decision.

 

The appeal must be submitted within 24 hours or one working day to the Medical Board formed by the District Magistrate.

 

 

Running Test -> Height and Chest Test -> High Jump , Long Jump and short Put  -> Medical Examination -> Merit list .
