Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) is a statutory body constituted under an Act of Parliament (ESI Act, 1948) and functions under the administrative control of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.
ESIC invites applications for direct recruitment to the post of Specialist Grade–II (Senior/Junior Scale) across various regions.

Medical Qualification: MBBS or equivalent, included in the First/Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (excluding licentiate) of the IMC Act, 1956. Those in Part-II must fulfill the conditions in Section 13(3) of the Act.

Postgraduate Qualification: PG Degree in the relevant specialty (as per Table A) or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum 5 years in the concerned specialty after obtaining the first PG degree.

Language Requirement: Must have passed a middle-level exam in the official language of the state where applying, or possess working knowledge of the local language (if no suitable candidate is available).
Important Notes

📝 For D.M./M.Ch. (5-year course): Senior Residency during the final part will count towards 5 years’ experience.

🎓 Experience relaxable by Appointing Authority, based on Selection Committee’s recommendation.

🧑⚕️ SC/ST candidates: Experience requirements are relaxable as per Govt. guidelines.

📅 Experience cutoff date: Will be calculated up to 26.05.2025.

📄 Experience Certificate: Must clearly state duration and nature of work, signed by HoD.

❌ Not Eligible: Non-medical candidates (without MBBS or equivalent).

✅ Recognition: Both MBBS and PG Degree must be recognized by NMC/State Medical Council.
