- Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, BSF serving personnel and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from payment of examination fee. Fee is Rs. 100 plus Rs. 50 plus 18% GST service charges via CSC
- Age between 18 to 25 years as on last date of application. Relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and as per government norms for ex-servicemen with extent of military service plus 3 years.

Online applications from eligible Indian citizens available from 25 July 2025 to 23 August 2025.
Minimum qualification: Matriculation or equivalent with ITI/vocational certificate relevant to trade.
Selection process includes Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Written Exam, Documentation, Trade Test, and Medical Examination.
Age limit: 18-25 years with relaxations (SC/ST: +5 years, OBC: +3 years, Ex-Servicemen: age relaxation as per govt norms).
Application fee Rs. 100 for general/OBC/EWS candidates; SC/ST, females, BSF personnel, ex-servicemen exempted.
Trade wise and state wise vacancies are allocated; candidates apply to domicile state.
