UP POLICE SI RECRUITMENT 2025

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released the notification for recruiting 4543 Sub Inspector (SI) and Platoon Commander positions in 2025.

The online application starts on 12 August 2025 and ends on 11 September 2025. Candidates should note the important dates carefully and ensure that they apply within this time frame.

Age Eligibility: Minimum 21 years and maximum 28 years as on 01 July 2025 with relaxations as per government rules.

Application fees are ₹500 for General, EWS, OBC categories and ₹400 for SC/ST. Payment modes include online methods such as debit/credit cards and net banking.

Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Physical standards and tests are mandatory and detailed in official notification.

For Male Candidates:

• Height: UR/OBC/SC - 168 cm, ST - 160 cm
• Chest: 79-84 cm (with expansion), 77-82 cm for ST

For Female Candidates:

• Height: UR/OBC/SC - 152 cm, ST - 147 cm
• Minimum Weight: 40 kg

Physical Efficiency Test:

• Male: 4.8 KM run in 28 minutes
• Female: 2.4 KM run in 16 minutes

Use passport-sized colored photo with white/light background, signature on white paper, educational certificates, caste certificate (if applicable), Aadhaar or any government ID, income certificate for EWS category, and other relevant special category certificates.
