UP Police SI Exam Pattern & Syllabus 2025
The Uttar Pradesh Police has announced 4543 vacancies for Sub Inspector positions. The exam pattern comprises 160 questions covering subjects like General Hindi, Current Affairs, Basic Law, Numerical Ability, Mental Ability, IQ and Reasoning Ability.

Age Limit:
Minimum age is 21 years and maximum age is 28 years as on 1 July 2025 with relaxation as per UP Police regulations.

General/EWS/OBC candidates must pay ₹500 while SC/ST candidates pay ₹400. Payment mode includes Debit/Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, and Mobile Wallet.

General Hindi: हिंदी और अन्य भारतीय भाषाएँ, व्याकरण, पर्यायवाची, विलोम, मुहावरे, वर्तनी आदि.
General Knowledge: India and adjacent countries, awards, sports, currency etc.
Law & Constitution: Human Rights, Traffic Rules, Crime Principles, Constitution etc.
Numerical Ability: Number system, HCF, LCM, percentages, profit-loss etc.
Mental Ability & Reasoning: Logical diagrams, coding-decoding, analogies, problem solving etc.
