Selection Process & Examination Scheme
Stages:
- Shorthand (English) Test: Dictation at 120 w.p.m. for 7 minutes with transcription in 45 minutes. Maximum mistakes allowed 5%. Maximum marks 100, minimum qualifying 50.
- Objective Written Test: 100 MCQs covering General English, General Knowledge, Judiciary provisions, Supreme Court Rules, and Computer operation. Maximum 100 marks; minimum qualifying marks 50 (General), 45 (Reserved). Duration 2 hours.
- Typing Speed Test: Minimum 40 w.p.m.; max mistakes 2% (general), 3% (reserved); duration 10 minutes.
- Interview: Maximum 30 marks; qualifying marks 15 (General), 13 (Reserved).
- Weightage: 3 marks awarded for Law Degree.
Pay Scale: Rs. 67,700 Level-11
Selection Basis: Performance in all above stages.
