RCF Rail Coach Factory Kapurthala Act Apprentice Recruitment 2025

Rail Coach Factory (RCF), Kapurthala under Ministry of Railways invites applications for 550 Act Apprentice posts for training under Apprentices Act 1961 in various trades including Fitter, Welder, Machinist, Painter, Electrician and others.

Important: This is a training engagement and does not guarantee permanent employment.

Applicants must apply online before the deadline to be considered.

Applicants must have passed Class 10th (Matriculation) with ITI (NCVT) Certificate in the relevant trade.

Age Limit: 15 to 24 years with applicable government age relaxations including SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwBD (10 years as per rules).

Fee applicable as follows:

• General/OBC/EWS: Rs. 100/-
• SC/ST/PH/Female: Nil

3. Register with your mobile number, email, and fill basic details to create login.
4. Log in and fill the application form providing personal, educational, and trade-related details.
5. Upload scanned photograph, signature, 10th mark sheet, ITI certificate, and category certificates as applicable according to specified formats.
6. Pay application fee if applicable online.
7. Review and submit the application. Download and save confirmation slip for future use.

Selection is merit-based on combined percentage of marks in 10th class and ITI certificate. No written examination or interview.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and medical fitness check.

Stipend will be given as per provisions of the Apprentices Act 1961 and Railway Board guidelines.
