DRDO CEPTAM-11 Senior Technical Assistant-B (STA-B) and Technician-A Recruitment 2025-26

The DRDO CEPTAM-11 Recruitment 2025-26 is conducted by the Centre for Personnel Talent Management (CEPTAM) under Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) for technical posts across India. This recruitment targets Senior Technical Assistant-B (STA-B) and Technician-A posts offering 764 total vacancies. Payment mode: Online via Debit Card, Net Banking only. Fee refund available after Tier-I exam as per category. Please retain payment receipts.

Nationality: Indian Citizen.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years; Maximum 25 years for STA-B, 28 years for Technician-A as of 8 January 2026. Age relaxation applicable as per government rules.

Educational Qualifications:

• STA-B: B.Sc. or Diploma in relevant engineering/science disciplines.
• Technician-A: 10th pass plus ITI in relevant trade.

Candidates with pending results or higher qualifications (M.Sc., Ph.D., B.Tech., B.E.) are not eligible unless specified.

Selection comprises multiple stages:

• Tier-I CBT: Screening test with objective questions in quantitative aptitude, reasoning, general awareness, English, and science/engineering basics.
• Tier-II: For STA-B: Discipline-specific CBT; For Technician-A: Trade Test/Skill Test (qualifying).
• Personality Test: Screening of shortlisted candidates.
• Document Verification: Verification of documents and certificates.
• Medical Examination: Assessment of medical fitness as per government norms.

Final merit based on Tier-I and Tier-II (as applicable) marks and subject to medical fitness.

The posts offer salary as per 7th CPC pay matrix:

• Senior Technical Assistant-B (STA-B): Level 6 (₹35,400–₹1,12,400/-)
• Technician-A (Tech-A): Level 2 (₹19,900–₹63,200/-)

Includes DA, HRA, TA, and other allowances as applicable by posting location.
