Bihar Technical Service Commission Pump Operator Recruitment 2025 Re-open 2026

The Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC) has released notification for recruitment of Pump Operator posts for the year 2025. A total of 191 vacancies are available. Candidates having passed the 10th class and possessing ITI certificate in Machinist or Fitter trade from recognized institutes are eligible to apply. The application process is online and started from 12 December 2025, with the last date to apply as 12 January 2026.

2. Navigate to the Notifications or Recruitment section.
3. Click on the Pump Operator recruitment advertisement or the direct apply link: Apply Online.
4. Register using your mobile number and email.
5. Fill in all personal, educational, and technical qualification details accurately.
6. Upload scanned documents including photograph, signature, 10th certificate, ITI certificate, and category certificates if applicable.
7. Pay the application fee of Rs. 100 via online modes such as debit/credit card, net banking, or wallets.
8. Submit the application form and download the confirmation receipt and filled application form for future reference.

Important: Complete the application process before the deadline 12 January 2026. Incomplete applications will be rejected.

The application fee for all categories including General, SC, ST, OBC, EWS, Female, and PWD candidates is Rs. 100. Payment must be done online through debit card, credit card, internet banking, IMPS, or mobile wallets. The last date for fee payment is also 12 January 2026.

The minimum age to apply is 18 years as on 01 August 2025. Maximum age limits vary by category: 37 years for UR males, 40 years for UR females and BC/EBC candidates, and 42 years for SC/ST candidates. Age relaxations are provided as per Bihar government rules. Candidates must produce valid documents as proof of age and category during document verification.

The selection for the Pump Operator post will be through a written examination followed by document verification and medical examination. The written exam generally includes objective type questions on general awareness, technical knowledge related to the trade, reasoning, and numerical ability. Only shortlisted candidates from the written exam will be called for document verification and medical tests.

Results of the written examination and further selection stages will be published on the official BTSC website. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and medical examination. Final merit list will be prepared based on performance and eligibility. Selected candidates will undergo joining formalities as per BTSC guidelines.
