UP Police Computer Operator Grade-A Recruitment 2025-26 - Correction form

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (UPPRPB) invites online applications for the post of Computer Operator Grade-A for 1352 vacancies. The recruitment process involves a written examination followed by a typing test and merit list preparation. Candidates must have passed 12th standard with Physics and Mathematics and have DOEACC O Level certification or Diploma in Computer Engineering, IT or Electronics Engineering. Typing proficiency of 25 words per minute in Hindi and 30 words per minute in English is mandatory.

6. Pay the application fee online through Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking.
7. Review all information, submit the application form, and download the confirmation page for future reference.

Candidates must be between 18 and 28 years of age as on 01 July 2025. Date of birth should be between 01-07-1997 and 01-07-2007. Age relaxation as per Government of India norms applies for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PWD (10 years) and other reserved categories. Both male and female candidates are eligible.

Selection will be based on:

• Written Examination
• Typing Test (Hindi - 25 wpm, English - 30 wpm)
• Final Merit List

Total Vacancies: 1352 posts.
Category-wise Vacancies: General - 545, OBC - 364, SC - 283, ST - 26, EWS - 134.
Pay Scale: Pay Band 5200-20200 with Grade Pay 2400, New Pay Matrix Level 4 with salary Rs. 25,500 to 81,100.
