Railway RRB Group-D (Level-1) Recruitment 2026

1. Visit your zonal RRB's official website (e.g., rrbcdg.gov.in for Chandigarh zone).
2. Navigate to 'Recruitment' > 'Latest Notifications' section.
3. Locate RRB Group D 2026 notification and read all instructions carefully before applying.
4. Click on 'Apply Online' and register if new user (One Time Registration).
5. Fill personal, educational and address details accurately.
6. Upload recent passport-sized photograph, scanned signature and necessary documents (10th certificate etc.). Refer Image Upload Guidelines.
7. Pay application fee online using Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI etc.
8. Preview application, submit and save/print confirmation for future reference.

• Class 10th mark sheet and certificate.
• National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) if applicable.
• Recent passport size photograph as per specifications (JPEG/PDF, max size 50KB-100KB).
• Signature scan as per guidelines.
• Other documents as per notification.

Applicants can verify application status by logging into the portal using registration credentials. Corrections, if any, can be made before the last date specified in official notification. Always keep your details updated.

Admit cards will be released on the official zonal RRB websites several days before the examination date. Candidates must download the admit card and bring the printout with original ID proof to the exam center.

Important: Without admit card and valid ID, entry to examination hall will be denied.

• Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT) - 100 questions, 90 minutes, negative marking 1/3rd per wrong answer.
• Stage 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
• Stage 3: Document Verification.
• Stage 4: Medical Examination.

Subjects included in CBT – General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness & Current Affairs.

Results will be published on respective RRB zonal websites. Merit list will be prepared based on performance in CBT and other stages. Shortlisted candidates will undergo document verification and medical fitness test before final appointment. Joining instructions will be shared post final selection.
