- Fee payment modes include Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Card / Mobile Wallet. PwD candidates are exempted from fee.
- Age relaxation varies by category - 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PwBD, 5 years for Ex-Servicemen and Jharkhand Govt employees with 3+ years service. No additional female relaxation except upper age 38 years.

Step-by-Step Application Process
Candidates must apply online at the official website www.jpsc.gov.in before 14th February 2026. Ensure all mandatory fields are correctly filled.
Required Documents for Upload
- Scanned recent passport size photograph as per specifications.
- Signature in running handwriting scanned as per guidelines.
- Educational certificates and proof of age certificate.
- Caste/category certificates if applicable.

Selection Process and Exam Pattern
Selection Stages
Selection will be through Preliminary Exam (qualifying), Mains Exam (scoring), and Interview. Final merit is based on Mains and Interview scores.
Exam Pattern Summary
- Prelims: Two papers of 200 marks each (MCQ, objective type), 2 hours each.
- Mains: Six papers totaling over 300 marks (subjective and MCQ).
- Qualifying Marks: 40% for General, 34% for EBC.
Admit Card and Result Information
Admit Card
Admit card will be available before the exam on the official website. Download and print it for entry to the exam hall.
Result Declaration and Merit List
Results will be declared on official website. Merit list prepared based on Mains and Interview scores will be published after completion of all stages.
Post Selection and Joining Process
Document Verification
Document verification will be conducted for shortlisted candidates based on final merit.
Joining Formalities
Selected candidates will be issued appointment letters and must complete joining formalities as per instructions provided by the commission.
