Additional Information
- General / OBC / EWS candidates have to pay Rs. 500, SC/ST/Female/PH/PWD candidates Rs. 250. Additional portal fees applicable: Rs. 60 (Kiosk) or Rs. 20 (Citizen login). Online payments via Debit/Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Card/Mobile Wallet.
- Age relaxation applicable as per MP Government rules for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD/Female/Ex-servicemen candidates.

MPESB Van Rakshak / Jail Prahari Recruitment 2026 Application Process
Step 1: Visit the official MPESB website https://esb.mp.gov.in/ to begin your application.
Step 2: Carefully read the official notification PDF before applying. Important points include age limit, qualification, and fee details.
Step 3: Click on the online application link when activated. Fill all required fields accurately.
Step 4: Upload all mandatory documents including your photograph and signature adhering to specifications (for resizing images refer to 'ImageResizer' tool).
Step 5: Pay application fee online through Debit/Credit Card, Internet Banking, or UPI modes. Remember additional portal charges apply.
Step 6: Submit the application form before the last date 14 March 2026. Print the confirmation page for future reference.
Important Documents Required and Guidelines
- 10th Pass certificate or Graduation certificate as per eligibility.
- Valid photo ID proof (Aadhar Card, Voter ID, PAN, etc.).
- Photograph and signature in the prescribed format (compressed size, background color as per notification).
- SC/ST/OBC/EWS certificates (if applicable) issued by competent authority.
- PWD certificate for eligible candidates.
Ensure you use the 'ImageResizer' tool for images to avoid upload issues.
Selection Procedure & Exam Pattern
The selection involves Written Examination (CBT), Physical Test, Document Verification & Medical Examination.
The written exam contains 100 objective multiple choice questions covering General Science, Hindi, English, Maths, and General Knowledge. Duration is 2 hours, total marks 100.
Minimum qualifying marks: General-40%, SC-33%, ST/OBC (MP)-23%.
Age Relaxation Information
Age relaxation is available as per MP Government rules:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PWD: 10 years (approximate, refer to official notification)
- Female & Ex-servicemen: Relaxation as per norms
How to Check Application Status and Correction Process
After submission, applicants can check their form status on the official MPESB website.
Correction window is open till 19 March 2026. Use this period to correct any mistakes in your application.
Admit Card and Examination Instructions
Admit cards will be available before the exam date. Download from official website using your registration details.
Carry photo ID along with admit card on examination day.
Follow instructions regarding exam center, items allowed and reporting time as per admit card guidelines.
Post Exam Process: Result and Joining
Results and merit list will be declared on the official MPESB website after evaluation.
Selected candidates will undergo document verification and medical examination before final appointment.
