- Application fee is ₹100 for General/OBC/EWS candidates and ₹0 for SC/ST/Female/PwBD candidates. Payment can be made online via Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Card, or Mobile Wallet.
- Age relaxations will be as per SSC official norms for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD/Female/Ex-servicemen categories.

Step-by-Step Process to Fill SSC CGL Post Preference Online Form 2026
- Open your internet browser on your mobile or computer.
- Visit the official SSC website at https://ssc.gov.in/.
- Click the “Login” section on homepage.
- Enter your Registration Number and Password to access your account.
- Locate and click on “SSC CGL Post Preference Form 2026”.
- Select and arrange your preferred posts in order of priority carefully.
- Review and confirm your selections by clicking Submit / Final Submit.
- Download or print the confirmation page for future reference.
Ensure all details are correct before submission to avoid form rejection.
महत्वपूर्ण निर्देश - Important Instructions
Please note the application fee structure: General/OBC/EWS candidates must pay ₹100, while SC/ST/Female/PwBD categories are exempted (₹0 fee). Payment modes include Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Card, and Mobile Wallet.
Age relaxation is applicable as per SSC norms and category rules. Minimum age is 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01 August 2025.
Candidates are required to upload scanned documents and photograph/signature as per SSC specifications. Refer to ImageResizer tool for correct dimensions and formats.
Application corrections can be made between 09 July 2025 and 11 July 2025.
परीक्षा पैटर्न और चयन प्रक्रिया - Exam Pattern and Selection Process
- Tier-1 Exam: 100 MCQs covering Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English, 200 marks, 60 mins, with -0.5 mark negative marking.
- Tier-2 Exam: Multiple papers including Quantitative Abilities, English Language, and Statistics for JSO post. Details to be confirmed via official notification.
- Selection Stages: Tier-1 CBT, Tier-2 CBT, followed by Document Verification.
एडमिट कार्ड, उत्तर कुंजी और परिणाम जानकारी - Admit Card, Answer Key and Result Info
Admit cards for Tier-I and Tier-II exams will be available on SSC's official portal. Candidates should download admit cards from their login dashboard.
The tentative release date for Tier-II Answer Key is 16 October 2025. Candidates may challenge answer keys by paying ₹100 per objection during the objection window; this fee will be refunded if objection is valid.
Results and merit lists will be published on official SSC website. Candidates are advised to regularly check official SSC site for updates.
