Exam Pattern and Selection
Mains Exam Pattern
Mains examination is descriptive and contains 4 papers of 100 marks each, total 400 marks.
- Paper I: General Knowledge - 100 marks
- Paper II: General Hindi (High School Level) - 100 marks
- Paper III: Criminal Law & Procedure (Police Act & Regulations) - 100 marks
- Paper IV: Law of Evidence - 100 marks
Interview: Shortlisted candidates will face a 50-mark personality test.
Final selection is based on Mains performance and interview, subject to document verification.
