THDCIL was conferred "Mini Ratna' Category- Status in Oct-2009 and up-graded to Schedule 'A' PSU in July-2010 by the Govt. of India.

Selection Procedure consists of following stages :-

1.Computer Based Test (CBT)

2.Interview

3.Document Verification

4.Medical Examination

5.Appointment

 

Condition 1 : If the no. of candidates with required eligibility is less than 50 in any post code , then selection procedure for that post shall comprise of Personal Interview only.

 

Condition 2 : If the no. of candidates with required eligibility is more than 50 in any post code , then selection procedure for that post shall comprise of Written/Computer Based Test and Personal Interview only.

 

Weightage if selection procedure has both CBT and Interview :

75% Weightage to CBT (Total Marks -150 Marks)

25% Weightage to Interview (Total Marks - 50 Marks)

 

Total Marks (CBT + Interview)= 200 Marks

 

Computer Based Test (CBT) :

Question Type : Objective Type 

Total Question : 150 Objective Type Questions

Total Duration : 2.5 Hours (180 Minutes)

Question Language : Hindi and English

 

Marking Scheme : 01 mark for each correct answer .

Negative Marking : 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

 

Question Pattern : General Awarness , Reasoning and Questions from concerned Discipline or Subject .

PART I- 15 multiple choice questions of the General Awareness.

PART II- 15 multiple choice questions of Reasoning.

PART III- 120 multiple choice questions of the concerned discipline.

 

Qualifying marks in CBT Examination as well as Interview (Category -Wise) : 

General ,OBC and EWS Category candidates - 50% Marks

SC/ST/PwBD/EX-SM   - 40% Marks

Pay Scale In E-2 Grade : Rs.50,000-3%-1,60,000 .

 

Allowances : Dearness Allowance, Perquisites and Allowance @ 35% of basic pay as per cafeteria, Performance Related Pay, Company Leased Accommodation /Company Quarters or HRA, Reimbursement of monthly conveyance, expenditure ,mobile instrument facility ,communication charges reimbursement and many other benefits  etc. .
