Selection Procedure consists of following stages : 

1.Written Examination (OMR -Based Test)

2.Physical Efficiency Test (PET) And Physical Measurement Test (PST)

3.Medical Examination & Document Verification

4.Final Selection (Merit List)

1.Written Examination (OMR -Based Test):

Type of Exam: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)

Total Marks: 100

Number of Questions: 100

Marks for Each Correct Answer: 1 mark

Duration: 2 hours

Negative Marking: None

Qualifying Marks: Minimum 30% marks required; otherwise, the candidate will be disqualified.

Syllabus: Hindi,English,Mathematics,General Science ,Social Science, General Knowledge & Current Affairs.

Note: The written examination is qualifying in nature and its marks will not be considered in the final merit list.

2.Physical Efficiency Test (PET) And Physical Measurement Test (PST) :

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

Candidates who qualify for the written exam will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), which consists of the following tests:

(a) Running

• Male Candidates: Must complete a 1.6 km run within 6 minutes.
• Female Candidates: Must complete a 1 km run within 5 minutes.

(b) Shot Put (Throwing the Ball)

• Male Candidates: Must throw a 16-pound shot put at least 16 feet.
• Female Candidates: Must throw a 12-pound shot put at least 12 feet.

(c) High Jump

• Male Candidates: Must jump at least 4 feet.
• Female Candidates: Must jump at least 3 feet.  

Note: The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will carry 100 marks, and the final merit list will be prepared based on these marks.

Physical Measurement Test (PST) :

For Male Candidates:

Height Measurement: Minimum 165 cm (For General, BC, and EBC) & 160 cm (For SC/ST).

Chest Measurement: Minimum 81 cm (unexpanded) and 86 cm (expanded) (For General, BC, and EBC).

For SC/ST Chest Measurement : 79 cm (unexpanded) and 84 cm (expanded).

The minimum chest expansion should be 5 cm.

For Female Candidates:

Height: Minimum 155 cm (For all categories).

Weight: Minimum 48 kg (For all categories).

Note: Transgender candidates will be tested as per applicable physical standards.

3.Medical Examination & Document Verification :

Shortlisted candidates must appear for medical examination and document verification.

4.Final Selection (Merit List) :

The final merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

Candidates who successfully clear the medical examination and document verification will receive the appointment letter.

Salary and Pay Scale : Level -3  Rs.(21,700 - 69,100)  per month.
