RSSB Jail Prahari Vacancy 2024 Apply Online

Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has released a notification for job opening at the post of Jail Prahari/Watchman. Total allotted seats under this vacancy is 803 , out of which 759 for Non-TSP area and 44 for TSP(Tribal sub area plan) Area.

 

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from 24 Dec 2024 to 22 Jan 2025  through RSSB official website or SSO Portal ( Link in the "Apply" Button).

Pay Scale : Level -3 and other allowances.

Selection Procedure consists of following steps :-

1.Computer Based Test (CBT)

2.Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

3.Physical Standard Test (PST) 

4.Medical Examination

5.Document Verification

1.Computer Based Test (CBT) :- 

Question Type : - Objective Type Question Paper.

Maximum Marks: 400

Number of Questions: 100

Duration of Paper: Two Hours.

Each Question will carry 4 Marks.

Negative Marking 1 Mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

The minimum qualifying marks shall be 36%.

Any question/queries related to the syllabus up to 10th Class can be asked.

 Exam Pattern of CBT:-

 

 

2.Physical Efficiency Test (PET):-

Total Score for PET - 100 Marks 

Min. Score for Qualifying - 50 Marks

 

Male Candidate :-

Running Distance - 5 KM

Time limit  - 25 Minutes

 

Female Candidate :-

Running Distance - 5 KM

Time limit  - 25 Minutes

ESM and central Police Personal are exempted from PET.

 

3.Physical Standard Test (PST) :- PET qualified candidates are eligible to appear for PST.

Male Candidates :-

Height (Minimum) - 168 CM

Chest (Without Expansion)- 81 CM

Chest ( with Expansion ) - 86 CM

 

Female Candidates :-

Height(MIN.) - 153 CM

Weight - 47.5 KG

 

Steps to fill online form:-

1.SSO ID & PASSWORD 

2.ONE TIME REGISTRATION (OTR)

3. Apply For the Form .

 

1.SSO ID & PASSWORD  : Candidates have to register themself on SSO portal https://sso.rajasthan.gov.in/ , first click on Registration option to get SSO ID & Password .

 

2.ONE TIME REGISTRATION (OTR) : After login select Recruitment Portal which is present under G2C(Citizen apps) section then candidates should complete One Time Registration (OTR).

 

First time OTR would need these information Candidate Name , Father's Name , Date Of Birth , Secondary (10th)/equivalent exam details and upload document of valid ID proof i.e. addhar card/pan card/voter card /Driving licence.

 

Candidates will have to upload live photo while filling form.

 

3. Apply For the Form : In Recruitment Portal Section , candidates can apply for the form by clicking on Apply Now  listed under Ongoing Recruitment heading.

 

Candidates who previously done OTR , on SSO portal after login, select Recruitment Portal and use old OTR number to fill online form.
