Indian Coast Guard (ICG) has announced for the recruitment to the Post of Navik (General Duty) & Navik (Domestic Branch) through CGEPT - 02/2025 Batch .Total number of seats under this vacancy is 300.

Coast Guard Enrolled Personnel Test (CGEPT) - 02/2025 BATCH

 

 

Selection Procedure consists of following stages:-

Stage I.Computer Based Online Examination and Document Verification

Stage II.Assement Test , Physical Fitness Test (PFT),Document Verification, Medical Examination

Stage III.Basic Indentity Checks, Document Verification,Pre-Enrolment Medicals at INS Chilka , Original Document Submission,Police Verification and other Associated Forms

Stage IV.Training ,Final Verification and Appointment

 

Stage I.Computer Based Online Examination and Document Verification: 

Normalisation of marks.

 

Post Name : (aa) Navik (DB) - Written test (Section I) with 30 marks as passing marks for general category .

Post Name : (ab) Navik (GD) - Written test (Section I and Section II) with 50 as passing marks for general category .

 

 

Stage II.Assement Test , Physical Fitness Test (PFT),Document Verification, Medical Examination :

i.Assessment Test: OMR based examination will be conducted which will be just qualifying in nature and the marks obtained will not be included in final merit list. However, only those who qualify this test will proceed for the next phase of examination i.e. Physical Fitness Test.

 

ii.Physical Fitness Test (PFT): All candidates are advised to be in possession of sports rig (Shoe, T-shirt, Trouser etc).

The PFT consists of: -

(aa) 1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes

(ab) 20 Squat ups (Uthak Baithak)

(ac) 10 Push-up 

Note :All three test of PFT are to be carried out in continuity without any break. Any break in three tests will lead to failing the PFT.

 

iii.Document Verification: Please refer the notification Page No.5 ,8 , 9 ,10,11 and 12 for required documents details.

(a) Navik (General Duty): Basic pay of Rs. 21700/- (Pay Level-3) plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/ place of posting as per the prevailing regulations.

 

(b) Navik (Domestic Branch): Basic Pay Scale for Navik (DB) is 21700/- (Pay Level-3) plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/ place of posting as per the prevailing regulation.

 

Allowances : Free Ration and Clothing , HRA for Self & Family ,(45+8) days leave , Pension Scheme (CPS) ,Canteen Facilities (CSD),ECHS medical facilities after retirement and Insurance cover of Rs.75 Lakhs.
