CSIR-Central Leather Research Institute (CLRI) has announced for the recruitment to the Various Posts of Technicians . These Posts are Instrument Mechanic/ Electronic Mechanic , Laboratory Assistant (Chemical Plant) , Draughts man (Civil) ,Physiotherapy , Medical Lab Technician and Various Other Posts . Total alloted seats under this Vacancy is 41.

Selection Procedure consists of following Phases : -

1.Screening/Shortlisting Of Candidates

2.Trade Test 

3.Competitive Written Test 

4.Medical Examination

5.Appointment

 

1.Screening/Shortlisting Of Candidates : The Screening Committee will adopt its own criteria for short-listing the candidates to be called for trade test.

 

2.Trade Test  :

The candidates as recommended by the Screening Committee will be called for Trade Test, which will be qualifying in nature.

 

3.Competitive Written Test :

Mode of Examination : OMR based or Computer based Objective Type Multiple Choice Examination

Medium of Questions :The questions will be set both in English and Hindi except the questions on English language

Standard of exam : SSC+ITI / XIIth Standard

Total No. of questions : 150

Total time allotted :2 hours 30 minutes

 

(i) Paper I (Time Allotted – 1 hour)

 

(ii) Paper II (Time Allotted - 30 Minutes)

 

(iii) Paper III (Time Allotted – 1 hour)

Evaluation of Papers and Final merit list: Paper II and Paper III will be evaluated only for those candidates who secure the minimum threshold marks (to be determined by the Selection Committee) in Paper I.

 

The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in Paper II and Paper III.

Pay Scale  : Pay Level-2 (Rs.19,900 - 63,200).

 

Total Emoluments/Salaries : Approx Rs. 38,483/-

 

Allowances : Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA) and Transport Allowance (TA) as admissible and made applicable to CSIR employees posted at CSIR-CLRI, Chennai and provision for reimbursement of Medical expenditure, Leave Travel Concession, Conveyance Advance, House Building Advance are applicable, as per Govt. of India/CSIR Rules, as applicable to Council Servants.
