Railway RRB Group D Job Vacancy 2025
RRBs will upload CEN-08/2024 details and activate the online application link on their official websites. Updates on CBT, PET, Document Verification, Medical Examination, and Empanelment will be provided through RRC websites. Eligible candidates can apply online for Level 1 posts in Indian Railways until 23:59 on 22nd February 2025. Vacancy details and qualifications are in Annexures A and B, with revisions possible.

a. Mathematics
Number system, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Mensuration, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, Square root, Age Calculations, Calendar & Clock, Pipes & Cistern etc.
b. General Intelligence and reasoning
Analogies, Alphabetical and Number Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical operations, Relationships, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Conclusions and Decision making, Similarities and Differences, Analytical Reasoning, Classification, Directions, Statement – Arguments and Assumptions etc. CENTRALISED EMPLOYMENT NOTIFICATION (CEN) NO. 08/2024 23
c. General Science
The syllabus under this shall cover Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences of 10th standard level (CBSE).
d. General Awareness on current affairs in Science & Technology, Sports, Culture, Personalities, Economics, Politics and any other subject of importance.

RRB Group D 2025 Selection Procedure - I
Selection Procedure consists of following stages :-
1.Computer Based Test (CBT):
2.Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
3.Document Verification(DV)
4.Medical Examination (ME)

1.Computer Based Test (CBT):
Call Letter : The information about the e-call letter download shall be communicated through the websites as well as registered email ID of the candidates.
Negative Marking : 1/3 marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
Normalistion of Marks : Normalisation of marks for CBT being conducted in Various Sessions.
Minimum Percentage of marks for shortlisting for various categories : -
UR-40%, EWS-40%, OBC (Non creamy layer)-30%, SC-30%, ST-30%.

RRB Group D 2025 : Physical and Document varification stage - II
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): It consists of two stages:
Male candidates:
Weight Carrying : Candidates need to lift and Carry 35 Kg of weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down;
Running Test : 1000 metres in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance.
Female candidates:
Weight Carrying : Candidates need to lift and Carry 20 Kg of weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down;
Running Test : 1000 metres in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in one chance.
Ex-Servicemen will be exempted from Physical Efficiency Test.
Transgender Candidates: Relaxed PET (Physical Efficiency Test) standards equivalent to the PET standards for Female candidates will be applicable for Transgender candidates.
Document Verification and Medical Examination : Candidates will only be selected after passing requisite Medical Fitness to be conducted by the Railway Administration , final verification of educational and community certificates and verification of antecedents/character of the candidates.
Original documents along with two sets of self-attested photocopies at the time of DV. Further, these candidates are advised to upload the scanned copies (in true colour) of Photo & Signature before their DV date through the portal - https://oirms-ir.gov.in/rrbdv.
Language Of Certificate : All certificates should be either in English or Hindi only.
Where certificates are not in English/ Hindi, self-attested translated version (in Hindi / English) should be produced wherever/ whenever required. Certificates produced during the DV should be strictly in the prescribed formats.
Candidature of candidates absent during the document verification will be forfeited.

Date : Not be older than two months with respect to last date for submission of the online application.
Resolution: 100 DPI (Minimum)
The candidates are advised to keep at least 12 copies of photograph which was uploaded by them in their online application for future usages.
