NTPC Junior Executives (Biomass/ Agriculture) Recruitment 2024

NTPC Limited, formerly known as National Thermal Power Corporation, is an Indian central Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the ownership of the Ministry of Power and the Government of India, who is engaged in the generation of electricity and other activities.

 

NTPC Limited is India's largest integrated power company with installed capacity of 76,443 MW and has presence in the entire value chain of the power generation business. Established in 1975, NTPC is steering ahead to be India’s largest integrated power company and targets to become a 130 GW firm by 2032.

 

Interested and  Eligible candidates can apply online from 14 Oct to 28 Oct 2024 for 50 Posts of NTPC Junior Executives (Biomass) . Agriculture Graduates(Bsc) are eligible for this Post.

No other means/ mode of application shall be accepted.

 

Candidates are required to possess a valid email ID. NTPC will not be responsible for bouncing back of any email sent to the candidates.

 

Application fee can be paid by both Online and offline mode.

 

Payment in online mode: Candidates also have the option to pay the fees online (through Net banking /Debit Card/Credit Card). The online payment option will be available in the online application form.

 

Payment in offline mode: State Bank of India has been authorized to collect the application fee, in a specially opened account (A/C No. 30987919993) at CAG branch, New Delhi (Code: 09996), on behalf of NTPC.

Candidate has to approach the nearby SBI branch with a printout of the "pay-in-slip" which is available on the application portal.

The pay-in-slip printed from the portal should only be used for depositing the fee for proper crediting of amount in the allocated account. On receipt of the money, the bank will issue a unique Journal Number and a Branch Code of the bank collecting the money. This journal number and the branch code are to be filled up by the candidate during online application.

 

After applying online, candidate is required to download the application slip generated by the system with unique application number. 

 

Some person/candidate  with certain disability/pwd has been found to suitable for this posts - Identified type of disabilities:

a) B, LV  b) D, HH  c) OA, OL, LC, Dw, AAV  d) ASD (M), SLD, MI  e) MD Involving (a) to (d) above .

All qualifications should be from Universities / Institutions recognized and approved in India. In terms of educational qualification, the candidate must have secured minimum 40% marks in the graduation degree in order to apply. SC/ST/PwBD candidates with only pass marks are eligible to apply for the post.

 

In order to restrict the number of candidates to be called for an interview, if so required, the Management reserves the right to conduct online screening/shortlisting/selection test or to raise the minimum eligibility standards/criteria, as per requirement.

 

NOTE : As of now, there is no clear direction regarding the selection criteria. However, candidates are likely to be shortlisted for interviews based on their graduation marks, or possibly their marks in 10th or 12th grade. NTPC may also conduct an CBT exam for this vacancy, but this has not been finalized yet. We will provide further details once they are published by NTPC.

Salary/Remuneration : Monthly consolidated amount of Rs. 40,000/-.

 

Additionally, Company accommodation/ HRA, Medical facility for self, spouse, two children and dependent parents.

 

Job Profile: To ensure management, utilization and alternative uses of waste & biomass along with spreading awareness about biomass among farmers and public etc.

 

Tenure of Engagement: 01 Year (can be further extended as per performance and requirement).

 

Posting will be done in field work at various NTPC Stations/Projects/JVs/Subsidiaries/Offices as per organizational requirement. All posts are transferable at the sole discretion of the Management.
