The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a notification for job opening to the Post of Assistant Commandants In Central Armed Police Forces . Total Seats under this vacancy is 357.

Photograph Special Instruction : Candidate should Upload the Photograph not be more than 10 days old from the start of the online application process and the name of candidate and the date on which the photograph was taken are clearly mentioned on the photograph.

The candidate’s face should occupy 3/4th of the space in the photograph.

 

Exam Center Instruction : The exam city is on first come first serve basis, for the desired Exam Centre candidates should apply for the form earlier as soon as possible.

Selection Procedure consists of following stages : 

1.Written Examination

2.Physical Standards Tests and Physical Efficiency Tests

3.Interview & Document Verification 

4.Medical Standards Test

5.Final Selection /Appointment 

 

1.Written Examination : 

Paper I : General Ability and Intelligence - 250 Marks

The questions in this paper will be of Objective (Multiple Answers) Type in which the questions will be set in English as well as Hindi.

 

Paper II : General Studies, Essay and Comprehension - 200 Marks

 

In this paper candidates will be allowed the option of writing the Essay Component in English or Hindi, but the medium of Precis Writing, Comprehension Components and other communications/language skills will be English only.

 

2.Physical Standards Tests and Physical Efficiency Tests : Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview .

Physical Standards Tests:

Height (Male and Female) : Male - 165 CM and Female - 157 CM

Chest For Male Only : 81-86 CM

Weight (Male and Female ): Male- 50 kg.  and Female - 46 kg.

 

Physical Efficiency Tests :

(a) 100 Meters race    -     16 seconds                  -       18 seconds

 

(b) 800 Meters race   -     3 minutes 45 seconds     -     4 minutes 45 seconds

 

(c) Long Jup            -       3.5 Meters (3 chances)    -    3.0 meters (3 chances)

 

(d) Shot Put (7.26 Kgs.) -  4.5 Meters  (3 chances)

 

3.Interview : 150 Marks
