How to fill form
1. Applications must be submitted only in online mode at the new website of SSC Headquarters; i.e., https://ssc.gov.in.
2. All the candidates who who have not registered on the new website (https://ssc.gov.in) will be required to register because the old website (https://ssc.nic.in) will not be functional.
3. One time registration will be used for all kind of SSC form filling.
To apply photo is not required, while filling the form option will come to capture the photo using mobile or laptop, the candidate has to stand / sit before the camera of the computer/mobile phone when prompted by the application module and follow the following instructions while capturing live photograph:
(i) Find a place with good light and plain background.
(ii) Ensure the camera is at eye level before taking the photo.
(iii) Position himself directly in front of the camera and look straight ahead.
(iv) Ensure that his face is fully inside the red rectangular area.
(v) Candidates shouldn’t wear a cap, mask or glasses/ spectacles while capturing the photo.
(vi) Capture photo carefully because this will be used to verify at exam centre.
Before submitting please cross check the photo.

File type : PEG/JPG format (10 to 20 KB).
Dimension : 6.0 cm (width) x 2.0 cm (height).
Exam Pattern and other details
Question paper will be of Objective Type Multiple Choice only. The questions will be set both in English & Hindi.
There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Computer Based Examination
