Agniveervayu Non-combatant under Agnipath Scheme 2024

Educational Qualification.

Candidates should have passed Matriculation / Equivalent examination from “Education Boards recognized by Central, State and UT as on date of registration shall only be considered”.

 

Mandatory Medical Standards.

 

Disqualification

ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY TO ALCOHOLISM AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE IS FOLLOWED IN IAF.

Body Tattoo:  Permanent body tattoos shall not be permitted, however, tattoos only on inner face of the fore arms (inside of elbow to the wrist), back (dorsal) part of the hand/reverse side of palm and for Tribal tattoos which are as per custom and traditions of their tribes may be considered.  However, right to decide whether the tattoo on the candidate is acceptable or not shall rest with the Selection Centre.  Candidates with permanent body tattoos shall submit two photographs (close up and distant view) with details of size and type of the Tattoo, during the second phase of Selection Test. 

The job profile under respective streams are as follows: -

(a) Hospitality Stream : In this stream, an individual is expected to perform all jobs / task associated with cooking, kitchen management, presentation of dishes, maintain sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen, safe storage of food and other items, handling of crockery, cutlery, refrigeration etc., laying of tables / chairs and serving of food, water etc.

 

(b) Housekeeping Stream : In this stream, an individual is expected to perform all jobs / task associated with cleaning of floors / roads / rooms / bathroom / commodes / urinals etc., making of brooms, grass / hedge cutting, ground leveling / digging of trenches, watering of garden, washing of utensils / clothes, filling & carrying of water, handling of office equipment.  Additionally, an individual would also be tasked to perform jobs associated with hair cutting, shaving, head massage, ironing clothes, stitching of leather items / sole making, repair of leather items, shoe polishing, cutting/ stitching / alteration / darning of garments and making ribbons, badges etc. 

Candidates are required to attach following documents with the application.

Applications received without documents are liable to be rejected: -

(a) Class 10th / Matriculation Mark Sheet & Passing Certificate.

(b) Passport size recent colour photograph (Not older than six months as on the last date of receipt of application) (front portrait in light background without head gear except for Sikhs). The photograph is to be taken with candidate holding a black slate in front of his chest with his name and date of photograph taken, clearly written on it with white chalk in capital letters. Two copies of the same photograph should be retained by the candidate for submitting at the time of enrolment.

(c) Consent certificate by Parents / Legal guardian is required for the candidate below 18 years of age. Consent certificate is to be signed by candidate himself if he
is above 18 years of age.

Agniveervayu Non-Combatant will be enrolled in the Indian Air Force under Air Force Act 1950, for a period of four years.  

 

After completion of four year of service , candidates will be allowed to apply for permanent enrolment , out of which 25% will be enrolled in regular cadre of IAF from each specific cadre.

 

 

Training.  When you join as an Agniveervayu Non-Combatant, you'll receive training for a specific job that the Indian Air Force needs. This training will be based on the type of work you're assigned to.

 

Leave : 

(a)Annual Leave.  30 days per year. 

(b)Sick Leave : Based on medical advice.

 

Pay, Allowances and Allied Benefits

Agniveervayu Non-Combatant enrolled under this Scheme will be paid an Agniveer package of Rs. 30,000/- per month with a fixed yearly increment.  In addition, Risk and Hardship allowances (as applicable in IAF), Dress and Travel allowances will be paid.  Perks such as ration, clothing, accommodation and Leave Travel Concession (LTC) shall also be provided as per the existing rules

 

Terminal Benefits – Seva Nidhi Package

 

Note 1: Agniveervayu Non-Combatant will not be required to contribute to any Provident Fund of the Government.

Note 2:  There shall be no entitlement to gratuity and any kind of pensionary benefits. 

 

Medical and CSD Facilities

For the duration of their engagement period in  Indian Air Force, Agniveervayu Non-Combatant will be entitled for medical facility at Service Hospitals as well as CSD provisions. 

 

Insurance, Death and Disability Compensation

Agniveervayu Non-Combatant will be provided non-contributory Life Insurance cover of Rs. 48 Lakhs for the duration of their engagement period as Agniveervayu Non-Combatant in the Indian Air Force.  Agniveervayu Non-Combatant will not be governed by provisions contained in the Pension Regulations / Rules for Indian Air Force.

 

Agniveer Skill Certificate

At the end of the engagement period, a detailed  Skill-Set certificate will be provided to the Agniveervayu Non-Combatant, highlighting the skills and level of competency acquired by them during their engagement period.

 

Personnel enrolled under this Scheme will not be eligible for Ex-Servicemen status.

Exams will be in multiple phases as given below

Phase I - Written Test
General English : 10 Marks
General Knowledge : 10 Marks
Total : 20 Marks

Phase II - Physical Fitness Test(PFT)
PFT I : Height - 152 CM , Run 1.6 KM in 6.3 Minutes (It can change according to location).
PFT II : 10 Push-Up, 10 Sit-Up and 20 squat (Duration of each activity is 1 minutes, with gap of 2 minutes between each activities).

 

Phase III - Stream Suitability Test(SST)
Qualifyting in nature: One should score a min of 50% aggrigate (15 Marks).
Different task for each section (Hospitality & HouseKeeping).

Phase IV - (Medical Examination)
1.Blood haemogram
2.Urine RE/ME
3.Bio-chemistry
4.Rediograph chest
5.ECG
6.Any other test as per need.

NOTE: Candidate should remove tartar and stains from teeth and ear should be wax free.
Candidate should be prepared to stay for the entire duration of the test under their own arrangement,, no TA/DA will be admissible.
