CENTRALISED EMPLOYMENT NOTICE NO. CEN 06/2024 FOR NON TECHNICAL POPULAR CATEGORIES (UNDER GRADUATE) POSTS Under Graduate Posts with Minimum Educational Qualification of 12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent examination and Age between 18 to 33* Years (with 3 years relaxation as per detail in CEN) as on 01.01.2025.

Exam pattern - Stage I (CBT)
The recruitment process shall involve
1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT).
2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT).
Typing Skill Test
Document Verification/Medical Examination.
1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) - Common for all notified posts of this CEN 05/2024.

Negative Marking : 1/3 mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
The 1st Stage CBT is of screening nature, the normalized score of 1st Stage CBT shall be used for short listing of candidates for 2nd Stage CBT as per their merit.
Exam pattern - Stage II (CBT)

Negative marking: 1/3 mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
The normalized marks scored by the candidate in the 2nd stage of CBT shall be used for short-listing the candidates for document verification for the posts that do not have a Typing Skill Test.
Exam pattern - Skill Test (Typing)
For the posts of Account Clerk Cum Typist & Junior Clerk Cum Typist, Typing Skill Test (TST) of a qualifying nature (marks obtained in typing skill test shall not be
added for making merit).
The candidates should be able to type 30 (WPM) in English or 25 WPM in Hindi on a Personal Computer only without editing tools and spell check facility. For guidelines of those who appear for the typing skill test in Hindi, Kruti Dev and Mangal font shall be made available for typing skill test on Personal Computer.
Some PwBD candidates ( Blindness/Low Vision, Cerebral Palsy & local motor Disability ) have to upload a scanned copy of Typing Skill Test Exemption Certificate issued by the Competent Medical Board on the website of their respective RRBs before conducting of typing skill test in the format at Annexure V(E).
How to Apply
Create an Account / and already have an Account, during the ONLINE APPLICATION, candidates will be asked to ‘Create Account’ if they are new to RRB-2024.
If a candidate has already created an Account for CENs notified in 2024, they can directly log in with the same credentials.
The details furnished for registration cannot be changed later.
Please note that the email ID and mobile number used for the Registration must be yours and unique. Verification of email ID and mobile number through OTP.
Candidates can proceed with the online application by clicking on the “Candidate Login” button on the Home Page using the Registration Number and password.
You can opt for multiple post but they should belong to the same zone(whatever zone you will choose).
While opting for multiple posts please take care of the priority of each and every post.
Bank Account Details for Refund: Candidates who attend 1st Stage CBT are eligible for refund of the examination fee.
Once the RRB has been selected, preliminary registration is completed and registration number is allotted, change of RRB will not be permitted under any circumstances.
All certificates should be either in English or Hindi only.
Candidates can apply to only one RRB form. Application to more than one RRB will lead to rejection of all the applications. Any attempt to submit more than one application by a candidate against this CEN shall result in disqualification and debarment.
Documents Requirement
Photograph(Color Passport)
Size - 30-70KB.
Dimension -35mmX45mm or 320 x 240 pixels.
Format- JPG/JPEG with 100 DPI resolution.
The face should occupy at least 50% of the area of the photograph. The forehead, eyes, nose, and chin should be clearly visible.
Candidates are advised to keep at least 12 copies of the same photograph for further use as and when required during the recruitment process.
PwBD candidates should also upload passport photographs as per the above specifications only and not the full body photograph used in the disability certificate.
Signature
Size - 30 KB – 70 KB.
Dimensions - 50 mm x 20 mm or 140 x 60 pixels.
Format - JPG/JPEG with 100 DPI resolution.
The applicant has to sign on white paper with a Black Ink pen.
Signature must be in running letters and NOT IN BLOCK LETTERS.
SC/ST Certificate Upload: Candidates belonging to the SC/ST community who have opted to avail of Free Rail Travel, have to upload scanned copies of their SC/ ST certificates (PDF format, upt0 500 KB).
Syllabus - NTPC RRB 10+2 Non Technical Post 2024
a. Mathematics:
Number System, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportions,Percentage, Mensuration, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Simple and compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Elementary Algebra, Geometry andTrigonometry, Elementary Statistics, etc.
b. General Intelligence and Reasoning:
Analogies, Completion of Number and Alphabetical Series, Coding and decoding, Mathematical Operations, Similarities and Differences, Relationships, Analytical Reasoning, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagrams, Puzzle, Data Sufficiency, Statement- Conclusion, Statement- Courses of action, Decision Making, Maps, Interpretation of Graphs etc.
c. General Awareness:
Current Events of National and International Importance, Games and Sports, art culture of India, Indian Literature, Monuments and Places of India, General Science and Life Science (up to 10th CBSE), History of India and Freedom Struggle, Physical, Social and Economic Geography of India and World, Indian Polity and Governance- constitution and political system, General Scientific and Technological Developments including Space and Nuclear Program of India, UN and Other important World Organizations, Environmental Issues Concerning
India and World at Large, Basics of Computers and Computer Applications Common Abbreviations, Transport Systems in India, Indian Economy, Famous Personalities of India and World, Flagship Government Programs, Flora and Fauna of India, Important Government and Public Sector Organizations of India.
NOTE: Syllabus topics for CBT-I and CBT-II are the same.
Important Points about Exam
Candidates waiting for the final result of the prescribed educational qualification should not apply.
Candidates should enter their Name, Father's Name, and Date of Birth as recorded in the SSLC/Matriculation/High School Examination Certificate or an equivalent Certificate ONLY.
The signatures of the candidates on all documents should be identical in all stages of the recruitment process.
No request for transfer to another Railway would be registered till the newly appointed candidates complete at least 5 to 10 years of service.
Visual Acuity Standard is one of the important criteria for the medical fitness of railway staff. (refer to page 8 of the official notification for more details).
Shortlisted candidates should produce NOC from the employer during document verification, failing which their candidature will be canceled.
