Applications are invited from Indian citizens for the post of Office Attendant in Group 'C' in the Subordinate Service in National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD).

 

Candidates can apply only ON-LINE on NABARD website www.nabard.org between 02 October 2024 and 21 October 2024.

Selection Procedure and Exam Pattern

The selection will be done on the basis of Online Test  and Language Proficiency Test (LPT).

 

Online Test :

Language Proficiency Test :-

 

All the Selected /Waitlist candidates would require to undergo the Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The LPT will be conducted in the official language of the State concerned / the State for which the candidate has applied in the online application form.

 

The LPT will be qualifying in nature. Candidates not qualifying/ passing the (LPT), would be disqualified.

 

The details of LPT to be conducted would be available on NABARD website after declaration of the Online Examination Result.

 

The online test except English language, will be available bilingually, i.e. in English and Hindi.

 

Negative marking : For every wrong answer marked, 1/4th mark will be deducted as penalty in examination.

 

Candidates applying for post in a particular State should be proficient/expert  in the official language of the State.

 

Final appointment of a candidate will depend on the performance in online test in the order of Merit, qualifying in LPT, Medical fitness, verification of certificates and Biometric Data/ Identity Verification, etc. to the Bank’s satisfaction.

 

The Bank would be analysing the responses of applicants in the examination with other appeared applicants to detect patterns of similarity of right and wrong answers.

 

Since the vacancies are earmarked State-wise, merit list of candidates will be prepared State-wise.

 

In case of there is a tie in qualification, candidate with higher marks in 12th /10th will be ranked higher.

 

How to apply

Candidates to go to the Bank’s website  www.nabard.org,  Go to CAREER Notices section then click on the option "APPLY ONLINE" which will open a new screen.


To register application, choose the tab "Click here for New Registration" and enter Name, Contact details and Email-id. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen.

 

Candidates can apply for vacancies in one State only. The reservation will be provided for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/EXS/EWS category as per extant Government of India instructions.

 

The candidate should be an undergraduate as on 01.10.2024. Candidates possessing Graduation and higher qualification are not eligible to apply. The applicants will be required to give self-declaration in this regard in online application/at the time of appointment and/or as demanded by the Bank during the recruitment process.

 

A recent, recognizable photograph (4.5cm × 3.5cm) should be uploaded by the candidate in the online application form and the candidate should ensure that copies of the same are retained for use at various stages of the process.

Size :- 20kb–50 kb.

 

Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious head wear is allowed but it must not cover your face.

 

If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections, and your eyes can be clearly seen.

 

Signature Image:

Dimensions :-140 x 60 pixels

Size :- 10kb – 20kb.

 

The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink pen.

File Size: 20 KB – 50 KB.

Dimensions: 240 x 240 pixels in 200 DPI & 3 cm * 3 cm (Width * Height) .

 File type: jpg / jpeg

 

The applicant has to put his left thumb impression on a white paper with black or blue ink.

 

Hand-written declaration Image:

 

File Size: 50 KB – 100 KB

File type: jpg / jpeg

 Dimensions: 800 x 400 pixels in 200 DPI & 10 cm * 5 cm (Width * Height)


Note: The hand written declaration has to be in the candidate’s hand writing and in English only on a white paper with black ink.. The text should NOT BE IN CAPITAL LETTERS.

 

If it is written by anybody else and uploaded or in any other language, the application will be considered as invalid.

Salary and facility

Pay Scale: Starting basic pay of Rs.10940/- p.m. in the scale of Rs.17270-590. At present, initial monthly gross emoluments are approximately Rs. 35,000/-  .

 

They will be eligible for Dearness Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and Grade Allowance , Leave Travel Concession , Loans and Advances at concessional rates of interest for Housing, Vehicle, Education & will have benefit of Defined Contribution New Pension Scheme .

 

Initial appointment of a selected applicant will be on probation for a period of 06 months.

Important Point about the Vacancy

In addition to the above, the candidate should be a domicile of the State/UT coming under the Regional Jurisdiction of the Regional Office to which he/she is applying for. Bank reserves the right to call for any valid document in support of domicile status of the candidate.

 

OBC applicants, availing reservation benefit will have to produce OBC certificate issued on or after 01 April 2024 with non-creamy layer clause as per Govt. of India guidelines.

 

EWS will have to produce EWS certificate for the financial year 2024-2025, issued on or after 01 April 2024.

The SC/ST/OBC candidates from Maharashtra are mandatorily required to submit “VALIDITY CERTIFICATE” issued by the Scrutiny Committee.

 

Candidates will have to visit NABARD website for downloading call letters for online test.

 

Candidate needs to affix the same photograph as provided during registration and appear at the examination centre with (i) Call Letter (ii) Photo Identity Proof in orginal and its Photocopy .
