About the Vacancy
National Insurance Company Limited, India’s Oldest & a leading Public Sector General Insurance Company, invites applications for recruitment of Assistants in Class III cadre from open market.
Eligible and Interested candidates can apply online on its official website from 24th October to 11th Nov 2024. Graduates from any stream with better Knowledge in local language of a state are eligible to apply . Selection Procedure and Exam pattern Of Nicl Assistant
Phases/Stage of Selection Procedure :
(1) Online Preliminary
(2) Main examination
(3) Regional Language Test.
Phase-I: Preliminary Examination (Online):
Examination Type - Objective Tests (Multiple Choice type Questions).
Candidates will have to qualify in each test/section by securing passing marks to be shortlisted for the Main Examination.
Phase – II: Main Examination (Online):
Examination Type - Objective Tests (Multiple Choice type Questions).
There is Requirement of minimum total score in the Main Examination to be called for Regional Language Test.
The questions except for the test of English Language will be made available in English & Hindi.
Negative marking in both Preliminary & Main examination : 1/4 of the marks assigned to that question.
REGIONAL LANGUAGE TEST: (Qualifying in Nature ,Marks will not be count for Final Merit list).
The name and address of the Centre, time & date of this test will be informed to the shortlisted candidates on Company's website.
Candidates applying for vacancy under State / UT other than their domiciled State / UT, have to appear and qualify the Regional Language Test in the language of State / UT for
which they have applied.
Final selection would be made based on the performance in the online Main Examination & Regional language Test.
The Final Merit List state-wise and category-wise shall be prepared in descending order of the marks secured by the candidates in the Online Main Examination subject to qualifying the Regional Language Test.
Candidates who fall within the number of vacancies in the Merit List shall be considered for appointment subject to Medical Fitness. Candidates will be intimated of the same through the Company’s website. The candidates are requested to check the website regularly.

How to apply
Application Registration : -
1.Candidates to go to the Recruitment Section of Company’s website https://nationalinsurance.nic.co.in/ and click on the option "APPLY ONLINE" which will open a new screen.
2.To register application, choose the tab "Click here for New Registration" and enter Name, Contact details and Email-id.
3.A Provisional Reg number and Password will be displayed on the screen, candidate should note it down.
4.Validate your details and Save your application by clicking the 'Validate your details' and 'Save & Next' button.
5.Candidates can proceed to upload Photo & Signature
6.Click on 'COMPLETE REGISTRATION' ONLY after verifying and ensuring that the photograph, signature uploaded and other details filled by you are correct.
7.Click on 'Payment' Tab and proceed for payment.
8.Click on 'Submit' button.
9.Non-generation of 'E-Receipt' indicates PAYMENT FAILURE.
NOTE : Candidates are required to take a printout of the e-Receipt and online Application Form containing fee details.

Note: The hand written declaration has to be in the candidate’s hand writing and in English only on a white paper with black or blue ink.. The text should NOT BE IN CAPITAL LETTERS.

JOb Salaries and other
Pay Scale : Rs.22405-1305(1)-23710-1425(2)-26560-1605(5)-34585-1855(2)- 38295-2260(3)-45075-2345(2)-49765-2500(5)-62265.
Emoluments/Net Salary: approx Rs.39,000/- per month in the initial stage in a Metro city.
Other Allowance may vary depending upon the place of posting.
Explaination of Pay Scale : Intial Basic Pay is Rs. 22405 after 1st year gets a first increament of Rs.1305 , so basic pay increases to Rs. 23710 and then increament of Rs.1425 for next 2 years ,until basic pay increases to Rs. 26560 and process goes on like that for futher years of survice.
State - Wise Distribution of Seats
As vacancy is specified for each state , Candidates can apply for any one state/UT . For specific Knowledge of Preffered local Language of any state refer 1st and 2nd page of notification.
