Bihar SHSB NHM CHO Recruitment Online Form 2024

State Health Society, Bihar invites online applications from candidates for the post of 'Community Health Officer' (on contractual basis) under National Health Mission. This post is meant to lead the primary care provider team consisting of female health workers, male health workers, ASHA's etc at Health Sub-Centres- Health & Wellness Centres (HSC-HWCs) for implementation of Public health programmes, enable Comprehensive Primary Health Care service delivery, including disease prevention and health promotion.

Each Community Health Officer (CHO) is entitled to a remuneration (honorarium) of Rs. 40,000/- per month. Of this Rs. 32,000/- per month is admissible as fixed remuneration and remaining Rs. 8,000/- per month is to be paid as Performance Linked Payment, calculated on basis of various decided health indices.

Candidates who have previously been posted and worked as CHO under State Health Society, Bihar or are presently working as CHO in the State of Bihar under NHM, are ineligible to apply as per SHSB HR Policy Chapter-2 Clause-5. If at any stage of selection or after selection the applicant if found to have already joined as CHO and Resigned/Left/Discharged/ Terminated or is presently working as CHO, then his/her candidature will be rejected immediately and suitable legal action will be taken against that candidate.
