Applications are invited from unmarried men and women candidates for becoming Permanent Commissioned Officers in Executive and Technical branches under 10+2 B Tech Cadet Entry Scheme after undergoing four year B Tech course at the prestigious Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala.
Interested candidates can apply online from 06 Dec to 20 Dec 2024 on the Indian Navy website mentioned below in this page. (10+2) passed candidates with 70% marks or more as well as appeared in JEE (Main) 2024 Exam can apply for this online form.
How to Apply for Indian Navy 10+2 (B.TECH) Cadet Entry Scheme 2025
Candidates are to register and submit their application on the recruitment website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in.
All relevant documents (preferably in original), Date of Birth proof (as per 10th/12th certificates), 10th class marksheet, 12th class marksheet, JEE(Main)-2024 Scorecard (indicating Common Rank List (CRL)) and a recent passport size colour photograph should be scanned in original JPG/TIFF format, for attaching the same while filling up the application.
Candidates are to take print out of application and carry it along with original certificates/ documents as mentioned in Para 10(b) while appearing for SSB interview.

Only unmarried candidates are eligible for training.
Any candidate who is found to be married or marries while under training will be discharged from service and shall be liable to refund full training costincluding pay & allowances and any other expenditure incurred on the candidate by the Government.
Use/ possession of narcotics is banned. Candidate may be tested for presence of drugs in the body during SSB selection/medicals/ training and subsequently during service.
Only one application is to be filled by a candidate.
Selection Procedure
Selection Procedure consists of following steps :-
I. Shortlisting of Candidates for Interview .
II. SSB Interview .
III. Merit list and Medical Examination .
IV. Training.
Shortlisting : Naval Headquarters fix the cutoff for shortlisting of applications for SSB based on JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL)- 2024. All candidates are required to fill their Rank as per Common Rank List (CRL) in the application.
SSB interviews for shortlisted candidates will be scheduled at Bangalore/ Bhopal/ Kolkata/ Visakhapatnam from Mar 2025 onwards.
Interview : Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their selection for SSB interview through e-mail and SMS (provided by candidates in their application form).
Change of SSB Centre for examination/ interview is not permissible under any circumstances.
AC 3 tier rail fare is admissible for the SSB interview, if appearing for the first time for particular type of commission.
Candidates are required to bring photocopy of the first page of pass book or cheque leaf where the name, A/C No. & IFSC details are mentioned, while appearing for SSB.

Merit list : Merit list would be prepared based on SSB marks.
Candidates declared fit in medical examination would be appointed subject to police verification and character cation & availability of vacancies in the entry.
Training : - Selected candidates will be inducted as Cadets for the four years B. Tech Course in Applied Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering as per Naval requirements.
On completion of the course, B. Tech Degree will be awarded by the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). Distribution of cadets amongst Executive and Technical Branch (Engineering & Electrical) will be as per the extant policy.
The entire cost of training, including books and reading material, will be borne by the Indian Navy. The cadets will also be provided with entitled clothing andmessing.
