RPSC Sub Inspector Telecom 2024

Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released a job notification for the posts of Sub Inspector-Telecom . The post is permanent and the total number of vacant posts are 98.

Candidates can apply online for this vacancy from 28 Nov to 27 Dec 2024 . More detail about selection procedure and exam pattern ,how to apply , department-wise and category-wise seats and other information are given in following sections.

Pay Scale : Pay level (L-11) Grade Pay - 4200/- . 

Physical Measurement for Male and Female :

Height measurement for Male : 168cm or above.

Chest measurement for male : Deflated chest measurement is less than 81 Cms. and inflated less than 86 Cms. with a minimum 5 Cms. expansion of chest 

 

Height & Weight measurement for women : 152 cm or above(height)  & 47.5 Kg or above (weight) except Saharia candidates .

 

Relaxation in height and chest measurements for SC/ST candidates : 5cm for both height and chest.

The height of Garhwali and Gurkha candidates shall not be less than 160 centimetre and their deflated and inflated chest must not be less than 79 and 84 centimetre, respectively;

 

Selection Procedure involves following steps:-

1.Written Examination 

2.Physical Efficiency Test

3.Aptitude Test & Interview

4.Medical examination

 

1.Written Examination :

A written Competitive Examination for the post of Sub-Inspector Tele-communications shall be conducted on the following pattern:-

 

Candidates who obtain 36 percent of marks in each paper and 40 percent in the aggregate shall be deemed to have passed the qualifying examination.

Relaxation up to 5 marks will be available to candidates belonging the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in each paper and in the aggregate.

 

2.Physical Efficiency Test :

All candidates who are declared successful in the written examination shall be required to appear before a Physical Efficiency Board, consisting of the Director General-cum-Inspector General of Police or his representative. 

The physical efficiency test shall carry 100 marks and the candidate who secure 50% marks there in, shall be eligible for selection.

 

3.Aptitude Test & Interview: Candidates who are declared successful in the written test and in the physical efficiency test shall be eligible for aptitude test and interview.

The aptitude test and interview shall carry 50 marks.

 

The Recruitment Board shall award marks to each candidate in respect of suitability to the post, taking into considerations personality, address, tact, behaviour, specialised training, aptitude for the post, judgment, leadership and knowledge of Rajasthani culture. The marks so awarded shall be added to the marks obtained in the written test by each such candidate.

 

Candidates holding Degree or Diploma in Criminology or N.C.C. "C" Certificate or who have offered police Administration as one of the papers for the degree examination may be given weight.

The Commission shall not recommend candidates, who have secured less than 36% marks in interview and 45% marks in aggregate.

RECOMMENDATION : Provided that the Commission may recommend women candidates, candidates belonging to the BC, MBC, SC, ST, EWS who though failing to obtain the minimum marks, are declared by Board to be suitable for appointment to the service with due regard to the maintenance of efficiency of administration, if the candidates secure 30% marks in interview and 40% marks in the aggregates.

 

4.Medical examination: Selected must produce a certificate to that effect from a Medical Authority notified by the Government for the purpose.

 

Each question has five options marked as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. You have to darken only one circle (bubble) indicating the correct answer on the Answer Sheet using BLUE BALL POINT PEN.

It is mandatory to fill one option for each question.

Steps to fill Online form:-

3. Apply For the Form .

 

1.SSO ID & PASSWORD  : Candidates have to register themself on SSO portal https://sso.rajasthan.gov.in/ , first click on Registration option to get SSO ID & Password .

 

2.ONE TIME REGISTRATION (OTR) : After login select Recruitment Portal which is present under G2C(Citizen apps) section then candidates should complete One Time Registration (OTR).

 

First time OTR would need these information Candidate Name , Father's Name , Date Of Birth , Secondary (10th)/equivalent exam details and upload document of valid ID proof i.e. addhar card/pan card/voter card /Driving licence.

 

Candidates will have to upload live photo while filling form.

 

3. Apply For the Form : In Recruitment Portal Section , candidates can apply for the form by clicking on Apply Now  listed under Ongoing Recruitment heading.

 

Candidates who previously done OTR , on SSO portal after login, select Recruitment Portal and use old OTR number to fill online form.
