BSF Sports Quota Constable GD 2024

Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizen (Male and Female) for filling up 275 vacancies for the post of Constable (General Duty) in Group "C" on temporary basis likely to be made permanent in Border Security Force Constable (General Duty) .

PAY SCALE: (Level -3)  Rs. 21,700-69,100/- and other allowances admissible to Central Government employee .

 

Sports Qualifications :- Players who have participated or won medal(s) during the last two years from the Closing Date of Advertisement will only be considered.

 

Individual Event (International/National):

The sportsman who have participated or won medal(s) in any International Sports events recognized by International Olympic Association as a member of the Indian team in last 2 years, or players who have won medal(s) in any National Games or Championship recognized by Indian Olympic Association, Sports Federation of (concerned sports) Junior National Level Championship held between 31/12/2022 till 30/12/2024.

 

Team Event (International/National):

In the team event, sportsperson who have won any medal in National Games / National Championship both (Junior and senior) /Any recognized sports meet of respective Federation/ Association recognized by the Ministry of youth affairs and sports or conducted by the Indian Olympic Association during the period of from 31/12/2022 till 30/12/2024 while representing state / UT/ Sports Control Board, Sports person should be the playing member of the team. 

Selection process involves following steps:-

I. Checking of Testimonials/documents

II. Measurement of Physical Standard (PST)

III. Detailed Medical Examination (DME)

 

Physical Standard (PST):-

Height: Male= 170 CMs  and  Female 157 Cms .

 

Chest - (for male only) 80 CMs (unexpanded). Min expansion -05 CMs

 

Weight- Proportional to height and age as per medical standards for male and female candidates.

 

Medical Standards (DME)-

Eye Sight - The minimum distance vision shall be 6/6 & 6/9 for both eyes without correction i.e. without wearing spectacles or lenses.

 

A colour blind person shall not be eligible for recruitment. 

 

The candidate must not have knock knee, flat foot, Varicose veins or squint in Eyes.

The candidate has to upload copy of certificate of document for sports discipline mentioned at Para 2 above on BSF Recruitment website in support of his/her highest medal/position or highest level of participation in the sports achievement mentioned at Para 4(b) of Detailed Advertisement on BSF recruitment website in their profile created on the https://rectt.bsf.gov.in/ before applying for the post, else his/her online application will be rejected during scrutiny.
