GENERAL INSURANCE CORPORATION OF INDIA (GIC Re ), the Indian Reinsurer is a 10th largest Reinsurance Company in the world with the network in India and abroad, is looking for Graduates / Post Graduates in the disciplines mentioned below to fill-in the positions of 110 Officers in the cadre of Assistant Manager (Scale-I) .

Selection Procedure for GICRE Assistant Manager consist of following steps :-

1.Online written Examination 

2.Group Discussion & Interview

3.Medical Examination

4.Appointment and Probation .

The total marks for Online Test, Group Discussion and Interview will be 200.

 

For Doctors the selection will be made on the basis of performance in TWO LEVEL interview only and there will be no written test.

For General Stream Candidates:

 

 

For Specialist Stream Candidates:

 

Minimum qualifying marks in the Online test – 60% for General & OBC and 50% for SC /ST.

Minimum qualifying marks for overall selection process (Online test, GD and Interview) – 60% for General & OBC and 50% for SC /ST.

Candidate has to secure the minimum qualifying marks stated above in each stage of the selection process i.e. Online test, GD and Interview separately

 

The Part B and Part C of examination shall be common for the candidates of all the streams.

 

Negative Marking : ¼ of the marks assigned to the question will be deducted from those obtained.

 

Tests will be bilingual i.e. English and Hindi except test of English Language.

 

The minimum qualifying marks would be applicable on the total score of online examination.

The Descriptive English Test will be conducted only through online mode. Questions will be displayed on the screen of your computer. Answers are to be typed using the keyboard in English. Before start of typing answers to questions in Descriptive Paper, please check all key functions of the keyboard.

Total test timing - 150 minutes.

PART A (Objective ) - 30 minutes, 

Part B (objective) - 60 minutes 

Part C (descriptive) -  60 minutes.

 

Candidates will be shortlisted for Group Discussion and interview on the basis of overall marks scored in objective and descriptive section taken together against full marks of 150.

 

2.Group Discussion & Interview :-  Candidates who have been shortlisted in the online examination will subsequently be called for group discussion and Interview to be conducted by the Corporation.

 

The centre, address of the venue, time & date of Interview will be informed  the call letter. 

The maximum marks for Group Discussion and Interview are 20 and 30, respectively.

Travel Fee Reimbursement : Outstation candidates called for interview will be reimbursed to and fro III AC rail fare/bus fare by the shortest route from the station of the residence to the station of interview on production of evidence of having undertaken journey for interview purpose.

Hand-written declaration Image:

Note: The hand written declaration has to be in the candidate’s hand writing and in English only on a white paper with black or blue ink.. The text should NOT BE IN CAPITAL LETTERS.

 

If it is written by anybody else and uploaded or in any other language, the application will be considered as invalid.

Intial Basic Pay : Rs.50,925/- per month .

 

Net Payable Salary : Approx Rs. 85,000/-p.m. plus other benefits.
