Rajasthan RPSC Senior Teacher Grade-2 Competitive Exam 2024

Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released a job notification for the posts of Senior Teacher Secondary Education (Grade -II) . The post is permanent and the total number of vacant posts are 2129.

Candidates can apply online for this vacancy from 26 Dec to 24 Jan 2025 . More detail about selection procedure and exam pattern ,how to apply , department-wise and category-wise seats and other information are given in following sections.

Pay Scale :  Pay level (L-11)  Grade Pay - 4200/- . 

Scheme and syllabus of competitive examination for the post of Senior Teacher Secondary Education:-

(1) The examination shall carry 500 marks.

(2) There will be two papers.

 

Paper I : Marks : 200        Time : 02 Hours

Total questions :100 question MCQs.

Negative marking : one third of mark of that particular answer.

 

Paper shall include following subjects:-
(i) Geographical, Historical, Cultural and general knowledge of Rajasthan.
(ii) Current Affairs of Rajasthan
(iii) General knowledge of world and India
(iv) Educational Psychology.

 

Paper II : Mark : 300      Time : 02 Hours 30 Minutes

Total No. Of Questions : 150 Questions MCQs.

Negative marking : one third of mark of that particular answer.

Paper shall include following subjects:-
(i) Knowledge of secondary and senior secondary standard about relevant subject matter.
(ii) knowledge of graduation standard about relevant subject matter.
(iii) Teaching methods of relevant subject.

 

 The minimum qualifying marks for each paper shall be 40%. Provided that the percentage fixed as above shall be relaxed by 5% for the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.

 

 

Steps to fill Online form:-

 1.SSO ID & PASSWORD 

2.ONE TIME REGISTRATION (OTR)

3. Apply For the Form .

 

1.SSO ID & PASSWORD  : Candidates have to register themself on SSO portal https://sso.rajasthan.gov.in/ , first click on Registration option to get SSO ID & Password .

 

2.ONE TIME REGISTRATION (OTR) : After login select Recruitment Portal which is present under G2C(Citizen apps) section then candidates should complete One Time Registration (OTR).

 

First time OTR would need these information Candidate Name , Father's Name , Date Of Birth , Secondary (10th)/equivalent exam details and upload document of valid ID proof i.e. addhar card/pan card/voter card /Driving licence.

 

Candidates will have to upload live photo while filling form.

 

3. Apply For the Form : In Recruitment Portal Section , candidates can apply for the form by clicking on Apply Now  listed under Ongoing Recruitment heading.

 

Candidates who previously done OTR , on SSO portal after login, select Recruitment Portal and use old OTR number to fill online form.
