SBI Clerks or Junior Associates (Customer Support and Sales ) Recruitment 2024

State Bank Of India (SBI)  has announced through notification for job opening  at the post of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre . Total number of seats in this vacancy is around 14189 and more .

Candidates can apply for vacancies in one State/UT only. They should be proficient in the opted local language of that state/UT for which they have applied.

Selection Procedure consists of following steps :- 

1.Preliminary Examination

1.Preliminary Examination: Online Exam Objective Tests 

Total Score   : 100 marks 

Total duration : 1 hour

 

Negative Marking :1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer.

 

2. Main Examination: Structure of Online Main Exam :

Candidates are required to score a minimum percentage marks on aggregate (For SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/XS/DXS candidates, 5% relaxation available thereon). Minimum qualifying marks on aggregate will be as decided by the bank. 

Trained apprentices of SBI may be given weightage in the Main Examination by awarding 2.5% of the maximum marks (i.e. 5 marks out of 200 marks) as bonus marks. 

Merit list will be drawn State wise, category wise. 

3.Test of specified opted local language: Those who qualify for selection and produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be subjected to any Language test.

 

In case of others (qualified for selection), specified opted local language test will be conducted after provisional selection but before joining. Candidates who fail to qualify this test will not be offered appointment. 

The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) will not be added for the selection and only the aggregate marks obtained in Main Examination (Phase-II) will be considered for preparation of the final merit list. Provisional selection will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in the test (Main Examination).

Results of the candidates who have provisionally qualified for selection will be made available on the Bank's website.

2.To register application, choose the tab "Click here for New Registration" and enter Name, Contact details and Email-id.

The applicant has to put his left thumb impression on a white paper with black or blue ink.

 

Hand-written declaration Image:

File Size: 50 KB – 100 KB

Dimensions: 800 x 400 pixels in 200 DPI & 10 cm * 5 cm (Width * Height)

Note: The hand written declaration has to be in the candidate’s hand writing and in English only on a white paper with black or blue ink.. The text should NOT BE IN CAPITAL LETTERS.

 

If it is written by anybody else and uploaded or in any other language, the application will be considered as invalid.

 

The text for the hand written declaration is as follows –

PAY SCALE: Rs.24050-1340/3-28070-1650/3-33020-2000/4-41020- 2340/7-57400-4400/1-61800-2680/1-64480.

The starting Basic Pay is Rs.26730/- (Rs.24050/- plus two advance increments admissible to graduates).

 Emolunents(In hand Net salary or Pay)  : At Metro like Mumbai will be around Rs.46,000/- per month inclusive of D.A., other allowances at the current rate and two additional increments for newly recruited graduate junior associates. Allowances may vary depending upon the place of posting.

 

Other Allowances : They will be eligible for reimbursement of various perquisites, provident fund, Pension under New Pension scheme (Defined Contribution Benefit), Medical, Leave-Fare and other facilities, as per instructions of the Bank as may be issued from time to time.
