India Post Gramin Dak Sevaks GDS Recruitment January 2025

The Department of Posts ,Government of India GOI (India Post) has announced for the recruitment to the Several Posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDSs) {Branch Postmaster (BPM) , Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) ,Dak Sevaks . Total seats under this vacancy is 21413.

EXAMINATION NOTICE NO.No. : 17-02/2025-GDS

Selection Procedure consists of following stages :-

1.Shortlisting of candidates on the basis of Qualifications

2.Document Verification and other Formalities

3.Appointment

1.Shortlisting of candidates on the basis of Qualifications : The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Secondary School Examination or 10th Class of a Recognized Board.

Note : Various methods to convert score obtained in 10th class from grades/points to marks will be used ,for more detail refer the official notification.

2.Document Verification: The shortlisted candidates will have to undergo physical verification of documents and some engagement formalities within a period of 15 days from the date of shortlisting . Document verification will be held at office of designated authority ex.the Divisional/Unit Head of the Division/Unit.

Note : For Knowledge of required Documents and other pre-engagement formalities before final appointment ,please refer the official notification.

BPM Salary : Rs.12,000/- to Rs.29,380/-

ABPM/Dak Sevak  Salary : Rs.10,000/- to Rs.24,470/

Allowances : Annual Increment of 3 % , Dearness Allowance , Social security benefits (GDS Gratuity and Service Discharge Benefits Scheme like NPS to regular employee).
