Selection Procedure , Syllabus and Exam Pattern Of : IOCL 246 Non-Executive Vacancy Online Form

Selection Procedure consists of following stages :-

1.Computer Based Test (CBT)

2.Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT)/ Computer Proficiency Test (CPT)

3.Document Verification

4.Medical Examination

5.Appointment

 

1. For Junior Operator (post code 101 to 123) & Junior Attendant (post code 201 to 204) - The selection methodology will comprise Computer Based Test (CBT) and Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT). The SPPT will be of qualifying nature.

 

2. For Junior Business Assistant (post code 205 to 208) - The selection methodology will comprise Computer Based Test (CBT) and Computer Proficiency Test (CPT). The CPT will be of qualifying nature.

 

Computer Based Test (CBT):

Question Type :  objective type of paper 

No. Of Questions : 100 Questions 

Marking Scheme : 01 marks for each question 

Total Duration : 120 minutes 

No Negative Marking : No marks will be deducted for wrong answers .

Language Of Test : Hindi and English

 

Syllabus For CBT for all the Posts : Refer the official notification page No. 7 & 8.

 

2.Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT)/ Computer Proficiency Test (CPT):

 

Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT):

The Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT) for the following candidates : -

           Junior Operator (Post Code 101 to 123)For all candidates

          Junior Attendant (Post Code 201 to 204)Only for PwBD candidates

 

 

It will comprise of performing task / module,under observation of a Committee .

 

The Committee shall declare a candidate ‘Fit’ or ‘Unfit’ for the post.

 

Computer Proficiency Test (CPT):

 

Junior Business Assistant (Post Code 205 to 208)Only for PwBD candidates

 

 

The candidates would have to undertake Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) on basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel & Power Point.

 

The task includes carry out the prescribed 10 basic commands in relaxed time of 25 minutes each i.e. total 3 tests with 30 commands in 75 minutes of test time,  for PwBD.

 

Candidates completing 20 commands shall qualify CPT.

 

The Committee shall declare a candidate ‘Fit’ or ‘Unfit’ for the post.
