Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) , a “Navratna” Central Public Sector Undertaking under the administrative control of Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, providing scientific storage facilities for agricultural inputs, produce and other notified commodities besides providing logistics infrastructure like CFSs/ICDs, Land Custom Stations, Air Cargo Complexes etc.

 

The Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) has announced a notification for job openings across various positions like Management Trainee , Accountant ,Junior Technical Assistant ,
Junior Technical Assistant- SRD  . Total Number of seats in this Vacancy is 179.

Selection Procedure for various posts Consists of following steps:-

1. Online Written Test

2.Interview

3.Document Verification and medical Examination

4.Appointment

 

1, 2, 3 & 4 [Management Trainee (General), Management Trainee (Technical), Accountant, Superintendent (General)] :

- Online Test + Document Verification followed by Interview

5 (Junior Technical Assistant):- Online Test + Document Verification

6 [Superintendent (General)- SRD (NE)] :- Online Test + Document Verification followed by Interview

7 [Junior Technical Assistant- SRD (NE)] :-Online Test + Document Verification

8[Junior Technical Assistant- SRD (UT of Ladakh)] :- Online Test + Document Verification

1. Online Written Test: 

 

 

 

Negative Marking : one fourth (1/4th) of the marks of a  question will be deducted for each wrong answers .

 

2.INTERVIEW & DOCUMENT VERIFICATION :

I. For the post code 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 :The weightage (ratio) of online examination (exam) and Interview will be 85:15.

Candidates who shall be shortlisted in the online test will subsequently be called for an Interview in the post to candidate ratio of 1:5, to be conducted by CWC. The document verification will be completed at the time of Interview.

The maximum marks allotted for Interview shall be 30 which shall be divided by two to get the weightage adjusted marks out of 15.

 

The minimum qualifying marks in Interview will be 50% for Unreserved and EWS Candidates, 45% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates.

 

The combined final scores of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of total scores obtained by the candidates in Online Exam and Interview.

 

II.For the post code 5, 7 and 8 :

Candidates who have been shortlisted in the online test will subsequently be called for the process of Document Verification (in person), in the post to candidate ratio of 1:3, to be conducted by CWC.

 

Appointment: Those candidates who come sufficiently high in merit and whose documents have been verified successfully and their eligibility for the posts has been established; will be shortlisted for appointment.

Application Registration : -

 1.Candidates are first required to go to the  CWC’s website   www.cewacor.nic.in  and click on the link ‘‘Career @CWC (Direct Recruitment)-2024’ and then click on the option “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR ADVERTISEMENT NO. 2024/01” to open the On-Line Application Form.

2.To register application, choose the tab "Click here for New Registration" and enter Name, Contact details and Email-id.

 

NOTE : Candidates are required to take a printout of the e-Receipt and online Application Form containing fee details.

Photo must recent passport style colour picture with white background.

 

Signature Image:

Dimensions :-140 x 60 pixels

Size :- 10kb – 20kb.

File type: jpg / jpeg .

 

The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink pen.

 

left thumb impression Image :

File Size: 20 KB – 50 KB.

Dimensions: 240 x 240 pixels in 200 DPI & 3 cm * 3 cm (Width * Height) .

File type: jpg / jpeg .

 

The applicant has to put his left thumb impression on a white paper with black or blue ink.

 

Hand-written declaration Image:

File Size: 50 KB – 100 KB

Dimensions: 800 x 400 pixels in 200 DPI & 10 cm * 5 cm (Width * Height)

File type: jpg / jpeg .

Note: The hand written declaration has to be in the candidate’s hand writing and in English only on a white paper with black or blue ink.. The text should NOT BE IN CAPITAL LETTERS.

 

If it is written by anybody else and uploaded or in any other language, the application will be considered as invalid.

 

The text for the hand written declaration is as follows –

“I, ------- (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”
