HOW TO APPLY
To Apply online visit https://rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in then click on Apply online link option and then candidates have to register themself on SSO portal , first click on registration option to get SSO ID $ password then After login select recruitment portal which is present under G2C then one need to do one time Registration (OTR).
First time OTR would need these information Candidate Name , Father's Name , Date Of Birth , Secondary (10th)/equivalent exam details and upload document of valid ID proof i.e. addhar card/pan card/voter card /Driving licence.
Those candidates who previously done OTR , on SSO portal after login, select Recruitment Portal and use old OTR number to fill online form.
Candidates will have to upload live photo while filling form.
Need to upload Scanned photo of signature and Thumbprint of left hand.
Note down Application Number ,if not received then form is not submitted.
Exam Pattern and syllabus
The Examination will be held in two stages : Preliminary Examination and Main Examination.
Preliminary Examination - It will be an objective type test, consisting of 200 marks, and the time allowed will be 3 hours .
Subject for this exam is General Knowledge $ General Science.
This exam is of qualifying nature and its marks will not be counted for determining the final order of merit.
Main Examination - Minimum 10% marks and 15% marks in aggregate out of the total marks of all papers in this exam to qualify for personality examination. 5% relaxation in min. marks for SC and ST.
This is written exam consisting of four papers . The time allowed for each paper shall be 3 hours.
Personality exam :
Personality and viva -voce Examination : It consists of 100 marks and marks obtained in it will be added to total marks for final merit list.
Priorities for this exams are character , personality , address , physique and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.
'C' certificate of N.C.C is important for Rajasthan Police Service.
Important point for exam
All papers shall be answered either in Hindi or in English, partial in any medium will not be permitted.
Objective type paper will have five option for each question and it is mandatory to fill one option for each question , otherwise 1/3 part of the marks of question shall be deducted.for more than 10% of unattempted question candidates shall be disqualified.
Candidates should fill form with correct information and should have proper educational qualification as per need of the exam (educationally eligible).
Form correction is possible before 10 days from the last day of form submission with a charge of ₹500.
Candidates who do not belong from state of Rajasthan , can fill form considering themself as General even they might be SC , ST , OBC , EWS or any other category in their states.
They will have to pay fees of general category.
