Qualification<p>Candidates Should have <span style="color: #0000ff;"><strong>passed relevant trade test</strong></span> from any institute with possession of minimum <span style="color: #0000ff;"><strong>50% marks in the ITI examination</strong></span>.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The relevant trade to be considered will be strictly on the basis of<span style="color: #0000ff;"> <strong>Apprentice Acts</strong> </span>and the<span style="color: #0000ff;"><strong> available vacancies</strong></span> in the Ordnance and Ordnance Equipment Factories.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>In addition, candidate must have <span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>passed Madhyamik / Class 10th</strong></span> or equivalent <span style="color: #0000ff;">(<strong>Minimum 50% marks</strong>)</span>.</p>

About the Vacancy

Yantra India Limited (YIL ) has released a Notification for engagement of Trade Apprentices (Non-ITI & ITI candidates). The total number of vacancies is approx. 3883 out of which 2498 is for ITI and 1385 is for Non - ITI

 

Eligible and Interested candidates can apply online from 22 Oct to 21 Nov 2024 from website link given in this page( "Register" and "Apply" Button) . Minimum allowed age for this Vacancy is 14 years old.

 

Selection is mainly based on marks of 10th class and ITI  degree . More detail about How to apply , Selection Procedure, and Stipend is given below in this page.

How to apply for YIL Apprentices

Candidates must apply through 'online' mode ONLY directly through the link mentioned on website: https://recruit-gov.com.

 

Only one application from a candidate will be accepted.

File type: jpg / jpeg, 100DPI .

 

Photo must recent passport style colour picture with white background taken not earlier than three months from the date of publication of short advertisement .

File type: jpg / jpeg , 100DPI .

 

The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black/Blue Ink pen.

 

Documents to be Uploaded : Legible scanned copy of original documents in PDF or JPG/JPEG format with size 100 KB to 200 KB. (please refer page 2 & page 3 of official Notification ).

 

Important Note: Candidates who have applied through the Government of India portal, www.apprenticeship.gov.in are required to re-apply through the link uploaded on the website: https://recruit-gov.com.

 

Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship and possess National Apprentice Certificate (NAC) are not eligible to apply.

 

Selection Procedure for YIL Apprentices

Selection will be on the basis of merit (marks of 10th and ITI as necessary) and choice of Ordnance Factory submitted by the candidate.

 

The merit list will be prepared separately for NON-ITI and EX-ITI categories.

 

The meritlist for NON-ITI category : -

On the basis of overall percentage of marks in Madhyamik or matriculation (Class X standard or equivalent), aggregate in all subjects or best of 5 subjects as per criteria of the concerned 10th Board, as entered by the candidate in the online application form.

 

Candidate shall submit original marksheet of Madhyamik Board (Class X std. or equivalent). For NON-ITI category, a factory-wise common merit list will be prepared and the trades will be allotted by each factory on Merit-cum-choice basis after selection.

 

Scores Of 10th Class must be converted into marks first , in case of CGPA/GPA grading as per their 10th standard board criteria ,then fill in online form.

 

Those who use incorrect conversion formula, i.e. different from the one mandated by the concerned 10th Board, shall be rejected during document verification.

The Merit List for Ex-ITI category:-

It will be prepared factory-wise and trade-wise.

 

On the basis of simple average of percentage of marks both in Matriculation and ITI (minimum 50% in aggregate in each).

 

For the purpose of calculation of percentage of Matriculation, marks obtained and entered by the candidate in online application will be considered (aggregate of all subjects or best of 5 subjects).

 

For calculation of percentage of ITI marks, marks mentioned in provisional/final certificate will be considered.

 

Based on the vacancy position, select lists will be prepared and only provisionally selected candidates will be called for document verification and medical examination.

Stipend (Salary) for YIL Apprentices

Stipend Per Month : 

NON-ITI (Matriculation/Xth Class Candidate) - ₹6000 .


EX-ITI (ITI Pass candidate) - ₹7000.


No other allowances will be paid during the entire period of apprenticeship training.
