Indian Navy Naval Dockyard Visakhapatnam Apprentice Recruitment 2024

Applications are invited from ITI qualified INDIAN national candidates for Apprenticeship Training in the following designated trades for a period of one year at Naval Dockyard Apprentices School, Visakhapatnam, [DAS (Vzg)] for the Apprenticeship training batch 2025-26 in accordance with Apprentices Act 1961 read in conjunction with Apprenticeship Rules 1992 as amended from time to time:

(a) Shortlisting for Written Exam: Candidates will be shortlisted based on a 70:30 ratio of SSC/Matriculation and ITI marks, with a merit list drawn. Hall tickets will be issued to 1:5 candidates per vacancy, ensuring reservation quotas are maintained.

(b) Written Examination: An OMR-based test of 75 MCQs (Maths 30, General Science 30, GK 15) in English, lasting 1 hour. No negative marking.

(c) Interview: Candidates will be called for interview in a 1:2 ratio based on written exam merit, involving document verification and an oral test.

(d) Medical Examination.: Every selected candidate shall be medically examined in accordance with Para 2(c) above.
